Thank you to all those who made a RITS submission.

The Project Manager and Writer have now worked thorough all of the submissions received and addressed all of the straight forward ones.  However, a number of the submissions required input from council technical teams to determine the most appropriate response and make recommendations to the Waikato RITS Steering Group.  These recommendations are now being collated and it is likely that this work will be completed by the end of March.

Following finalisation of the RITS, the WLASS Board will need to adopt the document, followed by each of the eight participating councils.  If necessary, councils may also need to make changes to their District Plans to make the RITS operative.
